Eduardo Berinstein is a Boston based jazz musician. His musical endeavors began where he grew up, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and continued when he moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music in 1979, with saxophone as his principal instrument. He was part of El Eco and Caribbean Express, two Latin jazz groups that performed extensively in the Boston area and beyond. After a long hiatus in his musical career, he joins an old bandmate, José Pienasola, on bass; neighbor, friend and accomplished colleague Doug Johnson, on piano; and other surprise guests, for an spirited evening of Brazilian and Jazz standards, with a Latin tinge.
