Kat Kennedy began performing around her home state of Connecticut at the age of 7. Since then she has performed at venues across the country, sparking a love of music and performance that led her to Berklee College of Music in Boston. It was there that she found her current singer/songwriter, pop folk style.

She currently performs around the Boston area, playing her original music and cover songs by artists such as Johnny Cash, Bill Withers, and Vance Joy, along with many others. At Berklee, the young musician was taught by renowned teachers like Grammy-Nominee Paula Cole, Livingston Taylor, and Jon Aldrich, and guests such as Ernie Isley from the Isley Brothers and Noam Pikelny from The Punch Brothers.

Kat was chosen to perform at the Berklee Performance Center's "Singers’ Night", a showcase of Berklee's top singers. She has performed nationally at the world renowned Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Club Passim in Cambridge, the Aquaturf Club of Connecticut among countless other venues. Kat has also performed in the Berklee Songwriters Circle, where a select few student songwriters were chosen by the Berklee Faculty.

The summer of 2014 Kat Kennedy was selected for an internship at Lucky Diamond Music in Nashville, TN. In 2015 she graduated from Berklee College of Music and is currently planning her debut tour to promote the release of her EP "Perception".
