BWS @ The Middle Gray: A Night in Italy (Dinner + Class)

  • The Middle Gray 6 Station Street Brookline, MA, 02445 United States

Join us for a the ultimate in virtual wine tourism: a wine and food tour of Italy without ever leaving Brookline Village! Get yourself ready for a broad range of Italian wines, from crisp Alpine whites to gutsy Sicilian reds. This class is going to experience the whole geography. Wine is produced in every region of Italy, and we are just going to scratch the surface when it comes to exploring the thousands of different varieties and styles of Italian wine.

The evening begins with a 2 hour class encompassing a mini-wine tour of Italy. Appetizers and an assortment of cheese will be served during class to introduce some of the fundamentals of pairing wine and food. You'll experience the culinary sights, smells and tastes of Italy via your wine glass and plate. By the end of the evening, someone will know their Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo!

Here at the Boston Wine School, we are a 100% Wine Snob Free Zone. We believe learning about wine means learning about yourself. Our goal is to help you understand and communicate what you are experiencing when you are enjoying a glass of wine.

After class, put your education to the test over a delicious wine dinner from the Middle Gray. We'll make a major food match with an Italian white and red specially selected for the menu.

Please understand the food and wine menu are subject to change based on availability, chef creativity, teacher whimsy, and more!
